  Huntsville, AL –October 1st, 2008 – Interoptek’s white paper, "A Proposed Solution to Sensor Management," has been selected for publication by the Charleston Defense Contractors Association (CDCA)/Space and Naval Warfare (SPAWAR) Second Annual C4ISR Transformation and Fusion Government and Industry Conference Call for Papers Committee. The paper will be published by CDCA and is available on our website and will be available at the CDCA website also. This paper discusses the uses of our software to mitigate the issue of ever-increasing data versus competing priorities for analyst time. The judicious use of automation can alleviate some of the problems by reassigning routine decisions to the computer. To this end, Interoptek offered its proposed solution in the form of Autonomous Software Control. The ability to reallocate sensors, either automatically or manually will increase the beneficial use of limited sensor resource thus increasing the likelihood of having the right sensor on the right target.
   
Interoptek, Inc. has been added to the DRS-TSI Land Systems Division OMNIBUS III team.
  Huntsville, AL - October 16th, 2008 - Interoptek, Inc is pleased to announce the company has been added to the DRS-TSI Land Systems Division OMNIBUS III team. This contract supports the PEO Combat Support and Combat Support Services (CS & CSS) through the U.S. Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM) in Warren, MI. The DRS-TSI team will provide in-depth program/project management support as well engineering and technical services to TACOM Life Cycle Management Command organizations, such as PEO Soldier, PEO GCS and TARDEC and TACOM depots.
   
Interoptek, Inc. and its teammates submits a Proposal for the Operationally Responsive Space Office (ORS) at Kirtland Air Force Base with a Cutting Edge Technology Approach for Integrating Multiple Rapid Solutions
  Huntsville, AL –April 23rd, 2008 – Interoptek, Inc. and its corporate teammates Advatech Pacific, Barrios Technology, Southwest Native Consulting, RadiantBlue Technologies, Southern Aerospace Company (SAC), Koniag Services, Oberon Associates, DESE Research, Inc., Whitney, Bradley & Brown (WBB), Syracuse Research Corporation, Information Systems Laboratories (ISL), Space Science Solutions, Inc. and NASA Marshall Space Flight Center Advanced Technology Office have submitted an innovative approach to the Department of Defense Operationally Responsive Space Office (ORS) for an Advanced Decision Support Software & Integration Solution for rapid solutions for responsive space. In response to the Broad Area Announcements (BAA) released in March, Interoptek and its teammates submitted a proposal that would allow multiple COTS/GOTS Technologies to be integrated into a seamless architecture utilizing Interoptek’s Autonomous Decision Support Toolset and will allow connectivity to any 3rd party GUI Interface. “This unique approach will allow the government to infuse existing and new technologies at any given time into a single picture which will allow for increased capabilities and cost effective solutions ,” per Retired AF Col Frank Arena of SAC, Inc. of Huntsville, Al.

  Huntsville, AL - April 14th, 2008 - Interoptek, Inc.’s Advanced Software Lab is pleased to announce that their “Autonomous Decision Support Tool” has been selected for the DHS American Security Challenge. Roger London, Chair, American Security Challenge, “The objective of the American Security Challenge is to increase the visibility of innovative security technologies and to help speed the commercialization process to bring innovative technology to the marketplace to protect our citizens and critical assets.” In conjunction with the 2008 Homeland Security S&T Stakeholders Conference East, presented by the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) with subject matter support provided by the Science & Technology Directorate (S&T) of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the American Security Challenge will award $100,000 to the winning business plan. The event takes place June 5, 2008 at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington, D.C.

Interoptek, Inc. Joins Information Assurance Small Business Association (IASBA) in Baltimore, MD as a Charter Member
  Huntsville, AL – February 7th, 2008 – Interoptek attended the IASBA meeting in Baltimore, MD. Interoptek is a charter member of the Information Assurance Small Business Association. The IASBA is a non-profit, grass roots organization begun on 21 November 2006 in response to government questions about small businesses in the information assurance market place.
